At Luxicare Health we aim to provide a comprehensive range of services for our Community Nursing Clients, below you will find a basic list of some of the services we provide, we can often provide any service that can be performed in a hospital setting by a nurse in a community setting within the home, however if the service you require is not listed here, please don’t hesitate to contact us to see what we could do to accommodate your needs. 

Luxicare Health has access to its own essential medical and diagnostic equipment such as BP machines and scan thermometers for the performance of basic baseline observations in the community setting from the comfort of the patients own home or residential care unit.

We are able to provide services for all shifts, day and night, weekdays and weekends as well as on public holidays.

Available Services

  • Nursing Assessments

  • Community Nursing

  • Pycho Geriatric Assessment Scales (PAS) and Dementia Assessments

  • Continent Care and Continent Assessments

  • Wound Care Management

  • Drains Management, Including Removal

  • Vac Dressings

  • Palliative Care

  • Respite Care

  • General Hygiene and Personal Care within the Home 

  • Accompanied Visits to GP/Specialist or Other Medical Appointments where the presence of Nurse is required

  • Continuous Hospital Care (Post Discharge/Early Discharge from Hospital e.g. Rehabilitation services, wound care post Surgery.

  • Administration of Medication – Oral, Subcutaneously IM and IVI Medications

  • Cannulation

  • Supra Pubic Catheter Management

  • Urethral Indwelling Catheter Management, Including Insertion and Removal as well as Trial Avoids

  • Peritoneal Dialysis and Haemodialysis
